FAQ's I've received during COVID 19

Q. What do I do when my wedding gets cancelled one or two weeks out?!

A. Cry. Cry it all out, you’ve been robbed.

Q. What do I do when the CDC forced cancellations for 8 weeks, but we are 10, 12, 14 weeks out and my vendors are telling I’m fine?

A. Drink. Drink your favorite drink sister. You deserve it.

Q. How do you know what to do when no one has any idea what the world is going to look like?

A. Postpone :(. The hard truth. It’s better to have a postponed celebration without the looming fear of risk and uncertainty. While it is tempting to hold tight to optimism and hope for a miracle, we have an ethical weight on our hearts. What if people don’t feel comfortable traveling or going to our big event? What if you have your wedding and people you love got sick? It is devastating to even consider.

Q. How do I process all of this quickly enough to see what is happening with clear eyes?

A. Lean On Me. A wedding planner is not just in it for the beautiful cake and pop of champagne; we are in it for the good and the Bad - even the very bad - times too.
